From Language to Labels — A Journey of Passion, Purpose & Cotton Kurtis
What started as a career in foreign languages evolved into a full-fledged love story with fabrics, patterns, and the vibrant world of women’s ethnic wear. After completing my Bachelor’s in Italian from Italy and spending a decade in the corporate world as a language expert, I discovered that my true calling wasn’t behind a desk — it was in design, quality, and entrepreneurship.
While still working full-time, I began sourcing women’s wear from local factories as a side hustle. Those early experiences taught me the value of quality, consistency, and having an eye for what women truly want to wear every day — something comfortable, stylish, and affordable. That’s when the seeds of my brand were sown.
From facing sourcing challenges in Lajpat Nagar/Gandhi Nagar to encountering quality gaps in several other markets across India, my journey eventually led me to the right sourcing hubs that matched my vision. With my younger brother helping at our small retail setup, and me managing suppliers and strategy, we built the business brick by brick — learning with every order and every customer review.
Over time, this side hustle turned into a passion project, and eventually a full-time commitment. I took the leap, left my high-paying job, and stepped fully into this dream — driven by the belief that everyday ethnic fashion deserves attention, thoughtfulness, and a personal touch.
Today, our brand is more than just about selling clothes. It’s about making daily ethnic wear more accessible, elegant, and relevant to the modern woman. Each kurti set we offer is a result of thoughtful sourcing, real-time feedback, and a commitment to quality — stitched with stories, dreams, and resilience.
We’ve now entered the online world, starting with Instagram and expanding to our website — keeping our inventory lean, but our ambition high. From influencer collaborations to digital ads, we’re growing one customer at a time, and we’re just getting started. This isn’t just business. This is a journey. And just when you thought the story was over… it’s only the beginning.
